Panoramic 360-degree (Effective Reality) Video

Create a panoramic 360o video in which you can view various angles during playback. For example, you can recreate a vehicle animation which allows you to examine the driver’s viewpoint.

To create a panoramic video.

1. Navigate to the desired vantage point in the drawing or point cloud.

2. Do one of the following:
   
   - Click Total View to open the drop-down menu.
   - From the Animation ribbon, click the Record Animation dropdown.
   
   
   

3. Click the Save Panoramic 360o Video.
   
   

4. Select a frame size.

5. Select a bit rate.

6. Select the FPS.

7. Select to save the movie (.mp4), and or the frames (.png).

8. You are prompted to enter a name for the movie file, and save it.

9. You are prompted to open the folder that contains the video file.

10. Right-click the file and play it with Windows Media Player.

If you are using Windows 11, you can no longer play the videos with Windows Media Player. You can download a program such as VLC Media Player, to use for opening the video file.
