Importing GLTF Files
You can import .gltf files directly into the software. After you import a GLTF mesh model, you can scale it and orient it. Skydio uses drone data to create these models.
To import a .gltf file:

From the Home ribbon, click Import/Export and select
GLTF. -
Browse to the folder that contains the .GLTF file, select the file, and click Open.

From the Edit Symbol dialog, you can do the following:

Rotate | Adjust the Yaw, Pitch, and Roll values to adjust the rotation of the object. |

Scale | Select a unit type, and then adjust the values to size the object. You can adjust the Length, Width and Height, individually, or use the Scale option to adjust all 3 values simultaneously. |

Center | Center the object in the drawing by adjusting the X, Y, and Z values. Adjust the values, and then click Center. |
|
Parts | Adjust properties for parts of the mesh. |
|
Snapshot | Take a snapshot of the mesh image. You can save the snapshot in .PNG, .JPEG, or TIFF formats. |

Save | Save the mesh as a model. |
|
Place | Place the mesh object in the drawing. |
Adjusting Properties for the Parts of a Mesh Model
Mesh files are typically made up of parts, for which you can adjust properties.
Choose from the following settings:
| Symbol Parts | Select the part to edit. |
| Part Color | Click the color tile to display the color palette and then select a color. Use the slider to adjust the intensity of the color. |
| Specular Color | Click the color tile to display the color palette and then select a color for reflective surfaces. Use the slider to adjust the intensity of the color. |
| Glow Color | Add a color to use for a glow effect. |
| Reflectivity | Use the slider to adjust the reflectivity of mirrors, windows, etc. |
| Part/Group Rotation | Rotate the part(s) selected in the Symbol Parts list. You can enter a value or use the slider. Click Reset to start over. |
| Paint Color | Enable this option to allow color adjustments for the selected part. |
| Hide Part | Show or hide the selected part. |
| Terrain | Include terrain, if it exists. |
| PBR | Use PBR for more options and textures for colors. |
