System Requirements
The following are the minimum recommended hardware and software requirements for FARO Zone 3D.

A DirectX 11 compatible graphics card, such as an NVIDIA® Quadro 2000, GeForce GTX 1060, Radeon HD4000+, or better is recommended. 8GB (or more) video RAM is recommended.
The FotoPoints feature requires an NVIDIA graphics card that supports CUDA with compute capability 3.0 or higher. To make sure your GPU is supported, see the list of NVIDIA graphics cards that support CUDA.

Please note the following:

You can install FARO Zone 3D on hardware-compatible Mac systems running Bootcamp; however a Macintosh OS version of FARO Zone 3D is not available.

Power Save Mode can affect performance. Set your high-end graphics card to High Performance settings.

Intel HD graphics cards are not supported. If your system has both an Intel graphics card and a high-end graphics card (NVIDIA recommended), you may see an error prompt. If so, you will need to change the Primary Graphics device to the dedicated high-end card.

In addition to the base requirements, VR features require:
