Bullet Trajectory

The Bullet Trajectory tool includes an adjustable impact plane to align with the plane of the impact site, as well as a trajectory rod to project to the point of origin.

To create a bullet trajectory rod:

  1. From the Draw/Edit ribbon, click the Point command and select the point of impact. Place another point at the origin point.

  2. Navigate around the point to ensure placement and elevate it to the proper height with the pyramid grip, or use the settings in the Point Tool panel.

  3. With Auto Snap activated, on the Power Tools tab, click the Trajectory tool.

  4. Snap to the impact point.

If you have a point cloud of the scene you can snap to a trajectory rod or a sphere.

  5. Snap to the origin point. A trajectory line connects the points and the Trajectory Panel opens.

  6. Make adjustments in the Trajectory Tool panel.
