Profile
The Profile tool creates a 2D profile against a measurement chart from the side view of a continuous line, curve, slope or trajectory.
To create a profile of a line:

From the Power Tools ribbon, click the
Profile tool. The Profile window displays.

Select a continuous line, curve, slope or trajectory. The profile maps to the grid.

Modify as necessary in the Profile window.
Method
Elevation displays the distance between the first point and the end point.
Distance is the actual length of the line.
No Elevation Adjust Set the grid at zero and start it with the elevation of the lowest point.
Grid and Labels
Row Spacing|Column Spacing: Adjust the row and column spacing.
Title: Enter a title to display above the grid.
Show Grid Lines: Check this box to display the grid lines on the drawing.
Show Report Box: Check this box to display the report on the drawing.
Place: Insert the profile as a label in the diagram with grips for adjustments.
Reverse:Reverse the grid.
Grow|Shrink Text: Adjust the text size.
More|Less Bolding: Adjust text bolding.
