Error and Status Indicators

Visible through the FaroArm Driver interface to the measuring software, the Quantum Max generates and displays errors in the Quantum Max dialog box, and the Handle LED turns Solid Red.

The Quantum Max does not output data until the error has been cleared.

• The Encoder End Stop warnings - This warning appears when an encoder reaches one end of its rotation.

• The Tube Stress warnings - This warning appears when there is stress on one of the tubes or encoder joints. The stress stop warnings may be disabled. See Hardware Configuration.

• The Missing or Unknown Probe warning - This warning appears when the probe is missing, unknown, or if the probe electronics are damaged.

• The Working Volume Limit warning - This warning appears when the probe is located outside the working volume of the Quantum Max.This warning appears when the probe is located outside the specified volume of the Quantum Max in which reliable measurements are achievable.
