The Devices group controls the connection settings between your Quantum Max and your computer.

In the Adapters drop-down list, choose the type of connection:

USB

Choose USB if you connection is using a USB cable. Your Quantum Max will appear at the top of the Devices list. If necessary, click the Refresh button to search the computer for your Quantum Max.

Bluetooth

Choose Bluetooth if you connection is using the Bluetooth wireless connection. Your Quantum Max will appear at the top of the Devices list. If necessary, click the Refresh button to search the computer for your Quantum Max.

Ensure the Quantum Max’s Bluetooth indicator light is on and your computers wireless receiver is on.

When you are not directly using the Bluetooth connection, delete the connection in FaroArm Manager. This avoids a connection conflict when you connect using a USB cable.

WLAN

Choose WiFi if you connection is using the wireless ethernet connection. Your Quantum Max will appear at the top of the Devices list. If necessary, click the Refresh button to search the computer for your Quantum Max.

Ensure the Quantum Max’s WLAN indicator light is on, your computers wireless receiver is on, and connected to the Quantum Max’s WLAN signal.

There are two WLAN settings depending on your wireless hardware configuration. The default setting is WLAN to PC/Laptop. See Network Configuration.

Ethernet

Choose Ethernet if you connection is using an Ethernet cable. Your Quantum Max will appear at the top of the Devices list. If necessary, click the Refresh button to search the computer for your Quantum Max.

Deleting The Ethernet Connection

To delete the Ethernet connection, highlight the Ethernet connection and click the trash can icon.
