When the FARO Laser Line Probe is operating, a laser beam emits from the aperture at the front of the LLP. See for the location of the laser beam aperture.

Laser Aperture

When the laser is operating, the Quantum Handle LED illuminate. identifies the location of the LED.

Laser Emission Indicator

The LED also indicates the range of the laser to the target surface. See Range Finder Dialog Box.

VIEWING THE LASER OUTPUT WITH CERTAIN OPTICAL INSTRUMENTS (EYE LOUPES, MAGNIFIERS, AND MICROSCOPES, ETC.) WITHIN A DISTANCE OF 100 MM MAY POSE AN EYE HAZARD.
