Draw Curbs

Use the Draw Curbs tool to draw curbs of various shapes. You can also use the line tool to draw curbs, or convert lines to curbs by selecting a curb line type.

To draw a curb using the Draw Curbs tool:

  1. From the Power Tools ribbon, click the Draw Curbs tool.

  2. Draw the curb in the scene.

OR

To draw a curve with a line, or convert an existing line to a curve:

  1. On the Draw/Edit ribbon, click a line command.

  2. Draw a line, a continuous line, an arc, or a circle.

  3. On the tool panel, click Line Type.dropdown and select Curb. The line changes to the default shape of a curb and the Curb tool panel displays.

  4. Adjust the curve with the grips. If finer adjustment is required, on the tool panel, activate Custom Curve and adjust with the triangle grips.

Line Change the curb to a line type. See Line Types
Color Change Color, Shine, Reflectivity, Emissive (glow), Texture, Texture scale (X and Y), and Enhanced 3D Texture.
Layer Open the Layer Manager to assign the object to an existing layer or create a new layer for it.

Align Shift alignment flush left, flush right, or center.
Segment Type Line or Curve.
Length, Height, Width Adjust the dimensions of the curb.
Stress Line Spacing Display stress lines at the indicated spacing.
Stress Line Size The thickness of the stress lines.
Under Surface Sink the curb beneath the ground plane.
Custom Curve Adds grips along curves which allow you to refine the curves.
Lock Aspect Locks Height and Width settings so that they cannot be adjusted separately.
Horizontal Flip Shift the alignment to the opposite orientation.
Show Points Opens a point grid in which you can adjust X, Y, Z, Length, Length 3D, and Angle positions for each point.
Edit Cross Section

Opens the Cross Section Editor which allows you to customize cross sections.
