Upload Orbis Captures in the Field

• Collect the Orbis captures in the Stream app while scanning.
  For more information see Stream Workflow with an Orbis Scanner in the Stream user manual.

• Upload captures from Stream to Sphere XG, see Transfer your data to Sphere XG in the Orbis user manual.

• In Sphere XG, you can process and align the captures, share them with other users, run a registration, make measurements and annotations, etc.

• In Connect, you can download the captures from Sphere XG make the required changes, for example by using advanced filters, and then upload them again. For more information, see the Connect user manual.

Upload Orbis Captures in the Office with SCENE or Connect

If you want to transfer Orbis captures "offline", you can do so by downloading data from the Orbis scanner via a LAN cable, a USB Flash drive or Wi-Fi and uploading them to a computer on which SCENE or Connect are running. You can then process the captures in SCENE or Connect and then upload them to Sphere XG. We recommend using SCENE.

If you tried uploading an Orbis project processed in SCENE to Sphere XG in the past and the result was faulty, synchronize the project again with SCENE 2025 and a Sphere XG version after 4 June 2025.
