Import Scans into Your Project

You can import Blink, Orbis and Focus scans into an existing project.

The Focus workflow is currently in beta state. Please note also that if you import a Focus project, you have to upload a so-called PanoCamClosed360° camera calibration scan. Otherwise, the PanoCam scans in your project will not be colored. (You do not need a PanoCam calibration scan if you import scans where the photos were taken by the internal Focus camera.) If you are working in the EU and COM domains, you need a calibration scan for each domain. For more detailed information, see the Focus scanner user manual.

  1. Click the Import data button in the project structure view.

  1. Click the Scans tile.

For existing projects, you can also drag the file directly onto the Import form.

You are redirected to the Add scans to your project page.

  1. Click the Add data button.

  2. Select a folder containing scans from the file system.

  3. Confirm the upload.

The following page is displayed.

  1. Follow the instructions under Upload, Process and Register Scans to process and register the scans.
