Import a .geoslam File into an Existing Project

You can import and process raw data sets in .geoslam format captured by handheld scanners into an existing SCENE project. See also Resulting SCENE Project for information on the output files.

Import .geoslam File

You can import the .geoslam file as follows.

Drag and Drop .geoslam File onto the Project Overview Page

  1. Open the SCENE project, into which you want to import the .geoslam file.

  2. Find the .geoslam file you want to import in your file system.

  3. Drag it onto the overview page of the opened project.

OR

Import the .geoslam File on the Import Tab of the Workflow Bar

  1. Open the SCENE project, into which you want to import the .geoslam file.

  2. Go to the Import tab of the workflow bar.

  3. Find the .geoslam file you want to import in your file system.

  4. Drag it onto the blue Drop Files to Import area.
    You can also click this area or click the Import Scans icon in the toolbar and then select the .geoslam file from your file system.

Import Result

The .geoslam file will be imported and one or more new scans will be added to the SCENE project. A confirmation will be displayed when the import is finished.

The imported .geoslam file will also be visible in the structure view.
