Sky

You can adjust display characteristics of the sky. Lighting of the sky significantly affects the visual quality of the scene and the objects within it.

Click the Sky command to open the Sky-Environmental Lighting tool panel.

Use High Dynamic Range Lighting (HDR) Use enhanced lighting to enhance the appearance of your drawing. See High Dynamic Range (HDR) Lighting.
Lighting Templates Choose preset lighting templates such as Dusk or Midnight.
Sun/Moon Light Color Choose an ambient light color base for the sun or moon, and use the slider to adjust the color's intensity.
Shadow Enable this option to add shadows to objects.
Background Light Color Select a background light color and use the slider to adjust the color's intensity.
Bright Enable this option to add brightness to the day setting or the phase of the moon in night mode..
Azimuth and Elevation

Azimuth - The direction of travel for the color.

Elevation - The height of the color display.

Calculate Azimuth and Elevation Position the sun for a specific area and time. The sun position calculator automatically extracts the latitude and longitude from a pre-placed Google map. See Using the Sun Position Calculator for Google Satellite Images.
Skybox

Show Skybox - Show the skybox.

Depth Color - Select a color to use for adding perceived depth to the skybox.

Sky Texture - Select the sky texture. Several daytime, evening and night options are available.

Global Environmental Ambient Use the slider to adjust the level of ambient light for the entire scene.
Save Lighting Template Save the configured lighting options as a template which you can use in other projects.
Set As Default Lighting Use the configured lighting options as the default for new projects.
